Welcome to the CUC 2022 Virtual Fall Gathering
Join the national Unitarian Universalist community as we share a weekend online exploring the topic “Living Into Covenant.” Congregational life, community life, is a collective. Being part of a faith community provides us with a place where we practice what it means to be human (JLAdams). We will do some deep reflection on the value of covenantal relationships and important elements that are part of the commitment.
On Friday evening, CUC staff and Board will host 90-minute regional gatherings. Together, we will delve into what covenants are, what they mean, and how they show up in our lives. Due to the regional distribution of the registrants, only the BC and Central regional sessions will go ahead. Those who are from the Western and Eastern regions are invited to join one of these other sessions, although anyone is welcome to attend the regional gathering of your choice.

On Saturday, all participants will gather in one group. We will consider the elements needed to create a covenant, the experience of living in covenant with each other, how we each hold ourselves accountable, and how we can return to covenant when this has been broken.

On Sunday, everyone is welcome to attend the national worship service via Zoom or the CUC’s YouTube channel, where you’ll hear CUC Board and staff share their reflections on covenants. To prepare for the weekend, we ask that you share your congregation’s or community’s covenant, if you are willing, by uploading it to this UU Covenants folder.
