This 90-minute webinar provides an overview of two areas of interest to charities:
- Canada Revenue Agency guidance on Public Policy Dialogue and Development Activities (PPDDAs);
- Reviewing and Updating Charitable Purposes
The first section on PPDDAs (formerly known as political activity) will be of interest to board members, leaders and social justice advocates. The information presented will be of use to your congregation in making decisions about how to engage in social justice and advocacy work.
The second section is of interest to board members and leaders who are responsible for ensuring that your congregation’s charitable purposes are current and in compliance with CRA requirements. If your charitable purposes have not been reviewed and updated within the last 10 years, this is for you!
Come for either section or both; it’s anticipated that the first section will take about 45 minutes.
