If your congregation wants to engage youth more fully, but you’re not sure where to begin, we can help.
Rev. Danielle Webber and special guests will explore the characteristics of healthy youth groups in a four-session, online training program this Fall/Winter.
Participants will reflect on the vital role of youth advisors; the value of shared leadership; and the important role youth groups play in congregations.
We will also examine the impact the pandemic had on our multigenerational communities, and explore ways to establish (or re-establish) vibrant youth groups.
If you are interested, please register to attend the series on either Thursday OR Saturday. (We recommend congregations enroll both youth and adults in this program for best results.)
Registration closes October 20, 2023. It is limited to 15 people per session (30 total).
Registration Notes
In the registration form you will be asked to decide which time slot works best for you:
Thursday Sessions: 4:00 pm PT | 5:00 pm MT | 6:00 pm CT | 7:00 pm ET | 8:00 pm AT | 8:30 pm NT
Saturday Sessions : 12:00 pm PT | 1:00 pm MT | 2:00 pm CT | 3:00 pm ET | 4:00 pm AT | 4:30 pm NT
Youth do not need to be matched with an advisor to attend, as this is not an overnight event and there will be at least two CUC-vetted adults present. However, we encourage teams of youth and adults to attend together.
Parent/Guardian permission forms for youth under 18 are now embedded in the registration form. No separate submissions are required.
Adults are still required to have a Congregational Involvement Form submitted on their behalf by a congregational leader.
Don’t forget to click the final “Submit” button at the end of the form, and watch for the confirmation email. If you don’t get a confirmation, your form may not have been properly submitted.
