Western Region Youth Con 2018

You’re invited to the “mUUgles and Magic Con” in Winnipeg to share your love for Harry Potter and, more importantly, your love for the UU youth community! It will be an amazing weekend filled with fun activities, worship, games, and multigenerational workshops and meals. Join youth and advisors from across the Western Region for this annual youth con, which is part of the larger multigenerational Western Regional Fall Gathering.

New to youth cons? Check out our Youth Cons 101 page to find out why you should come to the mUUgles and Magic con and Western Region Fall Gathering!

As usual, this year’s youth con will include time for youth community activities and social time in the evenings and on Saturday morning; and multigen time together for Friday’s Ingathering service, Saturday afternoon workshops, Saturday dinner and Sunday worship. Please see the Western Regional Fall Gathering page for more information about the multigen gathering schedule and workshops.

Youth cons are youth-led and planned by an amazing staff team. This year’s intrepid planning team is: Juliana Roe and Fiona Butler (Co-deans), Linnea Granberg (Touch Groups), Eric James and Rowan Fichtner-Jack (Workshop/Activities), Ocean Becker Lau and Addison Braden (Worship)

Andrea James is our First UU Winnipeg Liaison and local adult coordinator.
