Webinar: Connecting Across the Generations
Please register early! Registration closes on April 6 at midnight PT.
Youth and young adults often say that relationships with people of different ages make them feel at home and connected in their congregations. Elders often long for connections with younger people and have much to offer and learn. Churches are one of the last places (outside of our own families) where we can make friends across the generations. How can we use that niche to build a sense of community, trust, connection, and care? How can younger folks actively participate in the life of the congregation, and build relationships with elders?
Join CUC Youth and Young Adult Ministry Specialist Asha Philar and special guests to learn about best practices and exciting ideas for building intergenerational community – inside and outside of your congregation’s walls.
This webinar will be recorded for later viewing, but we encourage you to attend to participate in the discussion and get your questions answered!
Asha Philar is the CUC’s Youth and Young Adult Ministry Specialist. She works with congregations to support and improve their local youth and young adult ministries, and help all congregations be welcoming communities for all ages.
