CUC Board of Trustees

The CUC Board of Trustees is responsible for governing the organization in the best interests of the ownership, the member congregations of the CUC. The Board has adopted the Carver model of policy governance and governs through the setting and monitoring of appropriate Board policies.

The Board consists of eight voting members with two trustees representing each of the four CUC regions – British Columbia, Western (Alberta to Manitoba, and including Thunder Bay, ON), Central (Ontario except for Thunder Bay, Kingston and Ottawa), and Eastern (Kingston, ON to Newfoundland, NL). There are Official Minister and Youth Observers who are chosen by their respective communities.

The Board, together with the Executive Director and Official Observers, meets online monthly and face-to-face once to twice a year.
