THE 2012 CUC and UU Ministers of Canada Spiritual Leadership Symposium included a team of six Spirit Weavers, who were charged with the task of being “process observers, but with soul.”
During the event’s closing worship, on May 20, 2012, they provided the following report-back to participants, a litany of their experience of the weekend.
THE SUNDAY SERMON, “In Praise of Our Differences,” delivered by Rev. Shana Lynngood at the CUC and UU Ministers of Canada 2012 Spiritual Leadership Symposium, was recorded to share with members across the country, and is now available on-line.
THE SUNDAY service collection at the the 2012 Spiritual Leadership Symposium brought in over $3,800. This amount will be split equally between the CUC Leadership Development Fund and The Ten Oaks Project, an initiative based in Ottawa that works with youth and LBGTQ (lesbian, bi-sexual, gay, transgender and queer) communities.
CANADIAN UU YOUTH have re-elected Micaela Corcoran to a second year as Youth Observer to the CUC Board.
The Youth Observer to the Board (YOB) is a non-voting member who brings a youth perspective to Board activities and deliberations.

EVERY YEAR, the Knight Award is presented to a living person who has, as a volunteer, contributed at the national level to furthering the principles of Unitarianism in Canada. The award honours the ideals exemplified by the lives and work of Victor and Nancy Knight.
