Young Adult Activities:
For information about young adult-specific activities and special multigenerational events, check out the YA Activities page. Make sure to read about the Saturday Streams and Multigen Workshops before you register.
To maximize fun and community building, we encourage you to stay on campus at Dalhousie University. The LeMarchant Place residence has accessible and single, two, three and four-bedroom suites. Note that you are a young adult when you sign up for accommodations and staff will do their best to place young adults together. See the Accommodation page for more information about costs and options. Home hospitality is also available on a first-come-first-serve basis – sign up on the registration form and you’ll be contacted.
Accommodations are handled by Dalhousie University and not by CUC staff. Book your room online directly with Dalhousie University, using promo code CUC20 – please book your accommodations AFTER you have completed the conference registration.
About the CUC Conference:
Every two years, Canadian Unitarian Universalists gather together for a weekend-long conference filled with opportunities for learning, connection, and spiritual growth. The conference is multi-generational, but there will be numerous events throughout the weekend that are held specifically for young adults. For a description of all young adult and multigen events, see the YA Events & Activities page.
The conference theme is Making Waves! Building on the imagery of The Ripple Effect, the CUC’s campaign on water and its related environmental issues, this theme encourages and challenges UUs to make waves that practice radical inclusion, challenge the status quo, and push us to remain relevant into the future.
