Annual Program Calculation
Annual Program Contributions (APC) from member societies constitute over 70% of the operating revenues of the CUC. They provide the CUC with the means to “Build Vital Unitarian Communities” and is an important part of the relationship between the CUC and its congregations.
The CUC Board undertook a review of its previous method of calculating the APC which was based on a per member amount. After several years of consultation with congregations and treasurers, a new method for calculating the APC was approved at the 2019 Annual General Meeting.
This new method combines a percentage of donations to congregations and a percentage of per member amounts. This method is aimed at being more equitable and manageable for congregations, and at sustaining a consistent revenue stream for the operations of the CUC.

Annual Program Contribution Update
On behalf of the CUC Board of Trustees, here is an update on the status of the Annual Program Contribution (APC) decision process. Please download and read Motions 5 and 6 in the Motions for the 2019 Annual General Meeting to view the currently proposed motions
The Board also thanks the treasurers and administrators who spent time puzzling over how to calculate their APC based on a percentage of their operating budget, and appreciate the feedback provided.
