The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg welcomes you to the Western Region Fall Gathering 2018 – “Building Beloved Community”

 

When: October 26 – 28, 2018 in Winnipeg MB
Where: 1) First UU Church of Winnipeg (630 Wellington Cres) for Friday night, youth con & Sunday service;
2) St. Mary’s Academy (550 Wellington Cres) for Saturday programming for children and adults. Park in the east side parking lots for best access.

Weekend highlights include:
– “Building Communities of Joyful Resilience” with Rev. Jason Shelton
– “Growing Solidarity Together” with Asha Philar
– A “Two-Line Exercise” led by Jenna Wirch of Aboriginal Youth Opportunities to create safe spaces for building Indigenous and non-Indigenous relationships
– “Food for All, Justice for All” with First UU Winnipeg Harvest Team and community organizations
– Children’s Program featuring TiBert le Voyageur
– Youth Con “mUUgles & Magic”
– Installation service for Rev. Meghann Robern as First UU Winnipeg’s settled minister

Registration information:
Early Bird – adults & young adults (until Oct 1/18): $135
Regular – adults & young adults (after Oct 1): $160
Students & self-defined low income: $60
Youth Con: Sliding scale $40-$50-$60-$70
Childcare (under 6 years) & Children’s Program (6 – 12 years): $25
Registration deadline for all: 4pm Central on October 22, 2018
