Serving with Spirit: Sustaining Practices for Volunteers

This one-day workshop is designed for in-person and on-line participation. It focuses on re-imagining volunteer engagement practices, learning better ways to recruit, train and sustain people, and helping them engage meaningfully with your congregation. For in-person participation, teams of two or more are recommended to maximize learning and sharing.
Online participation will only occur with 5 or more registered to ensure that there are sufficient participants for Zoom group discussion (register early to make sure this goes ahead!). Online participants are encouraged to gather in one location.
    Two in person locations:
    1) Sat, July 28, 2018 at the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm ET. Registration deadline: July 18, 2018
    2) Sat, Aug 11, 2018 at the Saskatoon Unitarians from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm CT. Registration deadline: Aug 1, 2018
    In person participation is $55 & includes morning & afternoon refreshments. Please bring your own sack lunch.
