Neal Cameron

Neal-CameronAbout Neal: “I’ve been a UU for as long as I can remember. From RE to OWL to the current youth movement, the Unitarian Universalist faith has been a really important part of my life. I love to meet people, work to make real change and help with causes I care about in any way I can. I’m eighteen years old, from Kingston, Ontario, a town with a tight-knit community and fantastic arts scene. When I was very young, my parents attended our congregation’s multifaith service on a New Year’s day, and thought it would be a great place for me. I’ve been pretty active in the church since, and it’s been amazing to get to know the people, both young and old, who share UU values and attend our fellowship.”

Neal has been the Youth Observer to the CUC Board since he was elected in 2015. He was re-elected by Canadian youth in 2016 to serve one more term until May 2017. Neal currently lives in Vancouver and attends the University of British Columbia.
