Colin has been a member of the First Unitarian Congregation Waterloo for several years. He left a position on the board to become more active in social action. Although his past interest, education and activism has been focused on environmental issues, he chose to become involved in the peace movement. Currently he is chair of the Peace Monitoring Group and the CUC representative on the board of Project Ploughshares.
