Leadership

The Congregational Development team of the Canadian Unitarian Council nurtures congregational vitality and leadership by supporting congregational leaders in the areas of worship, governance, ministry, conflict resolution, planning, growth, transitions and economic and social sustainability.

Links to resources on congregational life will be forthcoming on this site as up to date resources become available. In the interim contact your congregational development staff to discover the resources in your area (B.C., Western, Central, Eastern).

For great resources on congregational life check out the Alban Institute for both books and learning opportunities. The UUA page on congregational management is also a great resource.

Every year the CUC organizes the Canadian Unitarian Universalist Leadership School (CUUL School). CUUL School is a 4 day, live-in leadership development program that offers current and emerging congregational leaders an enriching opportunity to deepen their understanding of our UU theological heritage as well as to reflect upon how those UU principles are practiced.

Check out our calendar to find the dates and location of the next session.
