CUUL School

Canadian Unitarian Universalist Leadership (CUUL) School is an immersive annual training program for current and emerging congregational leaders. The goals of the program are to meet the identified developmental needs of leaders and congregations, and to provide an enriched space to explore Canadian UU contextual theology, team dynamics and congregational wellness.

CUUL School is delivered in an intentional religious and worshipping community. This setting gives participants the opportunity to practice and reflect upon what is being taught.

The program’s content includes worship planning, Canadian UU history and contextual theology, group work, covenant groups, systems theory, size theory, conflict resolution theory and communication. The program promotes congregational connections and a whole church perspective.
