Note: Some of the events below take place at the same time as the 2016 CUC Annual General Meeting (Friday May 19, 9am-5pm) – participation in these events will preclude your attendance at the AGM.

Music

Musicians’ Collective Meeting – Thursday, May 19 11am – 5pm at Unitarian Church of Vancouver, 949 49 Ave W

Description: Members of the Canadian UU Musicians’ Collective will gather for conversation, networking and music-making at the Unitarian Church of Vancouver. No charge, however money will be collected to cover food. The Aboriginal Teachings and Drummings workshop takes place in the same location; separate registration and a separate fee applies.

Aboriginal Teachings and Drumming 20 max – Thursday, May 19 3pm – 5pm, at Unitarian Church of Vancouver, 949 49 AVE W

Cost: $20 to be collected on-site

Description: Join Aline LaFlamme, a pipe carrier and a drummer with Daughters of the Drum, to deepen your understanding of First Nation traditional teachings through drumming. Participants may choose to take part in drumming during the Sunday Worship service. 20 participants max.
