Bert has been a Unitarian for 40 years during which he has
served on innumerable committees and boards including being
president of Don Heights and Toronto First, the boards of
the CUC, the UUA and The St. Lawrence Foundation for
Theological Education as well as CUC president.
Retired after 45 years running his own electronics
service business, he now enjoys retirement by being the
webweaver for six websites which have a combined total of
about one million hits per month. Bert lives in Toronto with
his wife, Dr. Louise Ripley, their son, Erik, their
greyhound, two cats, and fifteen computers (don't ask). Bert
has two other sons, Mark and Brent from a previous marriage
and four grandchildren. |
